stories left on skin

scars are so beautiful. they speak of history, background, tales (from the crypt), tragedy, success. most corporations would prolly never think of uncovering these tales and paying for their employees to speak of them- until now. ever since the obama administration, health and wellness includes and supports mental health in the workplace. it was long over due. days of happiness, weekdays off and life coaching have been introduced by the government for leading corporations to encompass as part of the packages and insurances offered to working americans. it is preventive medication. it improves the bottom line. it’s a good thing.

I have been chosen to coach a large corporation and its employees for the next two years and am eternally grateful for this opportunity. rarely do I have time to do nothing, now I’m burning the candle at both ends. I love it. what is life if you aren’t contributing, growing, earning and loving? my legacy was always my happy, healthy son and the friends and family I have managed to stick with and have stuck with me for four decades but now I can be proud of changing peoples lives and bottom lines too. corporate coaching is a very dynamic step to  a better world. I will always think like an employee perhaps this is why I am the boss.

on april 9 at 3:00pm, I will be at ivivva in south miami teaching little girls how to bawse, please come and party with us. my next podcast is a different kinda sexy, different kinda angle- it’s a celebrity nevertheless- I’ll keep you posted. the digital downloads are ready- production was painful. I am so honored to be part of this.

hope you are on a private island celebrating spring or something, happy holidays!

and if you don’t know, I love scars,

FORGIVE MY DELAY IN BLOGGING FOR THE PAST THREE WEEKS, BUT I HAVE BEEN LIVING HARD. I OWE YOU THREE AND THIS IS THE FIRST OF THEM. A RESPONSIBLE BLOGGER BLOGS. (two more will be up today)

it’s been three weeks of debauchery and reckless fun with the only man in my life. Roman is 16!! I could not be prouder even if I tried. the only thing you are given when you become a parent is instinct and will. I am thankful I was able to trust mine. there is no book, guide or blueprint in the baby bag containing a free sample of similac. I gave him my life and it served me well. he is a happy, healthy and grounded man.

we tore Miami up. he asked for nothing and that is why he is given the most. I need to thank everyone that made his three weeks special. there are some new folk in his life and I am grateful for this.

I finally went to the salty donut. it was deliciously sinful. I will NOT go back. being in a line for hours is not my bag. I was first in line and saw many local peeps whilst in the three hour experience of just hangin’ out  and making a day of getting their hands on sugar. I am a clean eater for the most part and am guilty of refusing to wait. my best to all donut seekers in Miami- common fun on Sunday. I did it for Roman!!!

sea, salt and spice!!!! Yes!!! Yes!!!! And one more YES!!!!!!!!! russian women in red dresses everywhere!!! the food was outstanding and the company even better. the boats, the fish, the decadence of it ALL was more my type. on common days, Garcia’s is bomb too. THANK YOU for this very special moment.

Let’s go HEAT!!! It was more like Miami’s finest was in the house, including DJ Khaled and the boss himself, Rick. it pays to have family on the floor. I was in the third row too. OH! OH! Lebron should’ve sat this one out too, DWade made history.

Roman and I went to Ultra together for the first time ever. It was amazing. It was like a night at Komodo really but in public. Very public. UGH!?

the zoo experience was also part of the birthday fun and we sucked the life out of this day too. I learned a lot in the past three weeks. I learned not to take any moment for granted, to live every day like it’s my last and to love the people that deserve it hard. really hard.

Roman, when you were born, you saved my life. let’s do this again- same time next year? Yes?

and if you don’t know, WE DA BEST,
