Motivation Monday by Magda

Why not wake up in the morning and make it great day every day! Everywhere I go people ask me why I am so positive? It’s a choice. It’s my belief. If you choose to be this way, nothing can stop you. The truth is, I have a ritual that I’d like to share with you for free. No webinar, no video, no membership costs!

Wake up today and get your heart rate up for twenty minutes. The rate you are looking to achieve is between 115-120 beats per minute. Go old school and put your hand on your wrist and count for sixty seconds. The pulse should be in this range. Once you have achieved that rate maintain it for twenty minutes. Run through the neighborhood, make love to your committed partner (heart health is better when you have a loyal partner) chase your toddler, jump for joy- just maintain.

A study conducted in the University of Georgia concludes that if you exercise moderately, three times a week before your day begins, you mitigate daily stress and protect your mood from being disturbed. This type of exercise does more to boost thinking than thinking does! Just twenty minutes a day creates a mood enhancing effect which translates to a happier more positive YOU!

Everyone can do this. Like keeping positive, it’s a choice. I wish you only healthy choices. It’s never too late! This way, nothing can break your stride. Stride, I can’t believe I run marathons! Amazeballs!

Dear Santa, (you sexy thang)
At the dynasty this week, at least four wonderful deliveries arrived from people, places and businesses that Atrevete, Inc. touched (I need touch). I saw dancing delivery men wearing ear buds holding elaborate baskets and bags and gifts almost daily this past week. Every time they knocked on the door, I smiled. I didn’t know who the gifts were from, but I knew it was mad appreciation for the work we performed. The light we shed, the pitches we successfully made and the profits turned on behalf of our clients- worked!! Eureka, we struck gold! Other than Doctor Dribble, as he is the only athlete we represent, the professional firms, and stores we represent were already established businesses. The only baby born in front of me was StopSmokingStartLiving. All of these businesses increased sales and surpassed financial goals. Did you put this success in my stocking? I knew it was you, thank you!
Your little elf must have placed individual goal reaching in a box too, because I was able to stomp on some of my own limits this year as well. I ran marathons, I became a Certified Professional Coach and I am a day trader.
So in three days, when you land on my roof, be careful it’s a 1920’s home and very expensive to insure, all I want for Christmas that I haven’t received this year is …………….

– Jimmy Choos (Size 7.5, just one more pair)
– A gift Certificate to Studio LX (the girls to help accessorize too)
– A gift Certificate to Shop Splash (Bibi and La Lopez for advice)
– Ten hours with Suzel Vazquez MD (magic hands)
– Ten hours with Jhonny Salomon (rounder bottom)
– A lifetime Membership to Newton’s Method (jail tight WHAT)
– A lifetime Membership to Body&Soul (a lil Jugo Fresh too)
– The Stop Smoking Start Living anecdote for all smokers
– Marlyne Alexander to include me in the book
– A yearly tax return from Lopez & Partners, LLC (can’t forget the IRS)
– Duck Dynasty to return (Uncle Phil for Prez and I have gay friends)
– An honest, gorgeous, loving boyfriend (Strike this, I open my eyes to him everyday)
– Health (I earn it daily)
– A wonderful, producing, healthy son (Oh yeah, I own this already)
I was good this year and promise to come at you strong in 2014. Back up, I am braced to fight hard!
Santa, I really wanted to tell you how grateful I am for Roman, Darren and my health! I am not trying to get extra brownie points or anything, just like to say thanks a lot! It is important to never forget who loves you, so you can love them back.
Love,
Lil’ Ball Magda (it’s our little secret)
and if you don’t know, I believe in magic

This blog has been more than what I bargained for. People do scream my name. the waters did rise and I did have to build walls. I did fall in love. This time, there is no pain. I met so many wonderful people. It has been surreal.
“dare to be different’ happened because I lost what I knew to be mine. I lost my marriage, my family, my normalcy. I was dared.
I chose to accept the dare and be different. My son chose this slogan for my company and these words mean much to both him and I. they ring true every day.
I was the girl that kept wearing the same black dress. And then Marilyn came into my life. Her army, michelle, lauren and christina started texting me. Poking me, rebuilding me. Simple kindness and Jimmy Choos will cure all ailments. Studio LX became part of my firm. Old friends came out of hiding, Bibi and christy made a Splash and introduced me to Ivette. We did a television promo in everything Alexis. Now, I was ready.
The choice to quit smoking, saved a lot more than my life. It gave me purpose to pay it forward. I became humble. I am grateful. stopsmokingstartliving is my duty now. Shacky started me moving with this movement. That’s a great record to make.
My body is my temple, my soul is hard to touch. Body & Soul opened during my transformation and is a great part of my success. Pharrell and Kim Kardashian were memories only a big guy like Alex can afford me.
Doctor Dribble walked into B&S and my heart simultaneously. he brought with him a new method. A new method of living and a new method of loving. Without any hesitation, he is my favorite client.
I am a beast. I am a marathoner. (Roman likes to clarify half- marathoner) I have abs. I squat properly. I swing. The credit is mine and the venue in which this took place is Newton’s Method.
Chrsitie’s fitness fuel revolutionized brownies. How does chocolate become so sexy? #eatmeguiltfree

Suzel Vazquez MD cuts like a non-invasive laser. Impressive list of clientele. Marlyne Alexander Photography memorialized MLB and the greater Miami area. Unique Me Magazine elected A Femme Fatale that turned out to be an angel, a fellow blogger.
Not only that, they discovered a Man with Heart, my heart to be exact.
Throughout this blog, I did many good deeds and they deeded me back. Its no cliché that when you help someone else, you help yourself the most.
I am still one big bang away from the end of this year. I will be rapping up two more goals on my list before 2013 comes to a close.
I celebrated Hanukkah. Why not? He loves me, I love him – it’s cool.
As all greatness, it’s a constant work in progress. My site is being revamped. I was told I cannot blog for a month or two. Haaa!
The greatest pleasure in life is doing what people say you cannot do. #iwillblogon
Im not sure how, not sure when but please keep checking in- I will be back.
In the meantime, we can set up camp on facebook temporarily or maybe ill pop a squat on a friendly website. What I do know, is that I will come back stronger, larger and better in 2014. I’m dope like that, hard headed.
Till then, raise a glass and know that YES, I did it all!!

and if you don’t know, I’ve only just begun,

it’s not a sprint, it’s a marathon

As I was running, the flashes in my mind were incessant. As I broke a sweat, I rationalized everything I knew to forfeit pain and fatigue. As I gained the beautiful Miami Beach mileage to my advantage, I felt high! I was high on life. It was a rush, one I want to experience again.
Health is the best collagen, serenity and remedy anyone can seek. #liveloverun

I stopped smoking and started living. #thekerrygaynormethod

It took a village for me to complete this marathon. Many people had a hand in my 2:36:31 13.1 mile accomplishment. I tried to thank them all and realized I forgot one very important person. I forgot my sister. She is my first friend, my protector, my cousin. I love you Diana Perez Falcon. Your presence up and down that boardwalk, your hand in mine for pictures at the finish line made me strong. #neverforget

Future in running for me is certain. Mallory, the maker of Stride has much to teach and I have miles to learn so let’s do this! By the way, Archie is a perfect baby. He’s so cute.

@jace10 my shout out recipient on Instagram made it to 100 followers, this is a big deal for a fifth grader new to Instagram. He was so grateful for my temporary post. His gratitude changed my itinerary and made the post permanent. He then changed his screen name to @jace_budin. His new found fame made his day and mine too. The winner of this Shout Out just because is @mel9983. Brace yourself my good deed doer, I’m gonna make it rain followers for your act of kindness.

I crossed one finish line but am facing another one very soon. The Diamond Awards! Atrevete is up for votes! Best Minority business in Coral Gables, yes Sir. If you think so, go to www.surveymonkey.com/s/3CSFDKT and vote for our agency. I need a diamond with my heavy metal.

I’m blogging from Venice Beach with a very muscular man. Wow! #myview

Doctor Dribble is shattering records. He ran two marathons in two cities dribbling two basketballs while he smiled. He has many great reasons to smile. The main reason for these happy moments are the people he is helping. Help the fine Doctor help others by donating.

I want to look hot in a bikini, I want to party in France but I realize I have to work. Not only that, I needed your support. You were there for me. Thank you Doctor Dribble. #luckyme

The Kerry Gaynor Method is a reality!! Be on the look out of this lifesaver. If you love a smoker, save them. Great Christmas gift!

Two costumes down, one to go! I can’t wait! Happy Halloween!

If you didn’t see the Sizzle Reel and wanna watch me fry as I introduce Health and Wellness live from the streets of South Miami, sprint to http://youtu.be/SM1AW6tQt_s

Next up, Selena, Ron Burgundy, MIAMI Heat and Milo’s. Nothing ordinary about this girl.

April coined the phrase correctly, #livelikemagdalopez10 HA!

Get up, get strong and do something fantastic.
