it’s not a sprint, it’s a marathon

As I was running, the flashes in my mind were incessant. As I broke a sweat, I rationalized everything I knew to forfeit pain and fatigue. As I gained the beautiful Miami Beach mileage to my advantage, I felt high! I was high on life. It was a rush, one I want to experience again.

I stopped smoking and started living. #thekerrygaynormethod

It took a village for me to complete this marathon. Many people had a hand in my 2:36:31 13.1 mile accomplishment. I tried to thank them all and realized I forgot one very important person. I forgot my sister. She is my first friend, my protector, my cousin. I love you Diana Perez Falcon. Your presence up and down that boardwalk, your hand in mine for pictures at the finish line made me strong. #neverforget

Future in running for me is certain. Mallory, the maker of Stride has much to teach and I have miles to learn so let’s do this! By the way, Archie is a perfect baby. He’s so cute.

@jace10 my shout out recipient on Instagram made it to 100 followers, this is a big deal for a fifth grader new to Instagram. He was so grateful for my temporary post. His gratitude changed my itinerary and made the post permanent. He then changed his screen name to @jace_budin. His new found fame made his day and mine too. shout out just because

I met a fifth grade boy on Instagram. He is new. You can tell by the proper method of writing. He uses no hashtags and just recently mastered emoji art. He’s well mannered and cautious. His correctness caught my attention so I gave my very first shout out to a child I have never met, on my business page no less. I hoped he would gain more followers. I was so happy to see businesses and friends do the same for my new friend @jace1o. As promised, I watched closely at the response. I will honor giving the @jace1o best follower a Shout Out too.  I will announce the winner next Sunday! It is refreshing to know that people just help people for no reason at all, inspiring too.

Los Angeles style supermarket! Trader’s is now open in Pinecrest. So many wonderful things are born in California. In about one week, another miracle baby will be introduced to the world. It was made in California too. #stopsmokingstartliving I hope to thank Kerry Gaynor next week, he saves lives!

To run or not to run, that is the truth. I can’t say much other than I’ve been humbled. The views, the camaraderie, the pain, the challenge all mixed into a simple physical movement. I will see you at the finish line come hell or high water.

Pop culture was forever changed by the Beatles and the scandal of Yoko and John. Hov brings us back, educates us, in his most recent song, “Murder”. It’s my theme song for the reel I made based on Health and Wellness.

This week, I finally made it to Bean Town. I saw the bean. I saw MJ. I ran in a marathon, a full marathon. It felt like running with the bulls in Spain. It was only a moment, a short fragment of time.

Benjamin Dash is almost here and I am physically ready. I have decided to work double time until then to rep my girl and her angel- SAMANTHA. That’ll be three hours daily!

Thanksgiving is right around the corner. I am so grateful for so much. At today’s race, I couldn’t help but be reminded of what is important, loving those who love us, helping a neighbor, creating healthy goals and executing them one by one.

My week turned into a warm up for a half marathon. It felt like a full marathon. I don’t know what either feel like to date, but if I did, I’m sure it would be similar.

The only symbol that stayed tranquil was LULU! I checked in between takes, interviews, hair and makeup. It’s not easy watching stock and recording a reel.

I spent ninety nine percent of the airtime focused on health and wellness. I stole the remaining one percent channeling my father. He never afforded himself more than two takes. I had a blast making this. If you were part of the production, I thank you for your participation and or hospitality in advance. We can have a viewing party soon!

Did you get a glimpse of the oysters on steroids? I had to share because they were mammoth.

Jugo Fresh opened for life again, but this time at Body & Soul. I met Chef Darren today, pretty funny. I love Jugo Fresh and I love… The cinnamon rolls too.

My friend, Laura Posada, honored me with a meal and lots of laughter at Roaster’s n Toaster’s in Kendall. We were both served wonderful healthy food in giant portions. Thank you Danny for allowing us and the crew into your venue.

Doctor Dribble had his way with me on film! He showed some mad skills while on camera live from Newton’s Method. I love it when you turn into a beast. Training the body as one muscle is impressive. Running marathons with the balls is equally impressive, did you donate to his most recent cause?
